The Plan: Level I: The Awakening

In a changing world influenced by multiple media sources, a small town teen, Gabe, watches a YouTube video that changes his life forever. What was thought to be a joke about government conspiracies, including something called ‘The Plan,’ turns out to be much more. Gabe recognizes the YouTube video creator, Franklin, as a school shooter who commits suicide during the event. Seeing the shooter’s face on the news reminds Gabe of a comment on the video Franklin had made about people being made to do things they don’t want to do.
The desire to view the video again leaves Gabe wondering when he discovers that the video is “No Longer Available” for viewing. Why would someone remove it so quickly? Who removed it? Were the conspiracies true? As Gabe innocently searches for an answer with the help of his friend, Hanna, the two discover and unleash a subversive agency working toward one ultimate goal—a dictatorship within the United States. The agency sees and hears through multiple electronic devices, but the cellular phones are primary.
Gabe is framed by the agency for the killing of his father. Hanna’s parents must flee to help Gabe and Hanna escape, and the two begin a cross-country trek to find Sophi, the Franklin’s little sister who has evidence Gabe needs. Join the adventure as Gabe and Hanna learn and grow over a few short days. They change from teens to adults, citizens to soldiers, and friends to something more.
