↪My thoughts.
The sweet escape is a sweet, fantasy, standalone by Evelyn Larson.
It is a really fun and kinda ridiculous concept at first, but then again, the author’s creativity is appreciated and respected. I loved the concept of a marshmallow into a man, hmm.
That’s new. The story was written well, and the characters — both the MMC and the FMC have been through their own struggles but together they make a good couple.
The romance between them is wholesome and cute. Very cute. I love me and innocent MMC who needs to be taught things. 🎀
Overall, this book was a funny and a cute read. I am and still mind of in confusion as to the rating of this book, for now, we’ll settle at 3.25 stars. I’ll come and update again, if i can sort through my feelings later.
