Where did the human race originate?
That's the burning question for former television news "IT Girl" Temperance "Temps" Breyer, now relegated to shooting a cable television show for underwater archaeologist Scott Harlow. Temps sees a way to break the biggest story in history when Harlow discovers a key to the origins of man.
But reviving her news career takes a back seat when powerful forces learn of the discovery and seek to control it. Plus there's a wild card in the deck... one of Harlow's staff wants to sell the story to a competing network.
The search for the ultimate answers leads Temps and Scott on a journey of discovery... one that takes them to outer space and puts their lives in danger.
And the answers they find about Earth's past may hold the key to its future.
