La famosa lectura en tándem arrancá con este libro. Ahora bien, esperaba que me volara la cabeza pero no paso. A ver, me gustó bastante sí y paso a explicar:
• La pelea/discusión de Aelin con Darrow (creo que se llama) que nos dió un chisme tremendo. Ahí yo dije: okey, acá se va a venir una gran trama.
• Elide Lochan, amiga, yo te amo. Toda la subtrama de esta chica me tenía totalmente enganchada y solo quería que su relación inesperada avanzara.
• Manon, las Trece y Dorian. Osea, Manon es mi personaje favorito de todo este universo y lo que tiene que pasar con todo lo de su abuela, sus hermanas y el rey de Adarlan fue espectacular. Amo a estas brujas con todo mi ser.
• Obviamente, el final cinematográfico que se le acerca mucho al de La Espada de la Asesina. Simplemente ARTE.
• Lysandra, palabras aparte. Creo que objetivamente es el mejor personaje.
Peeero, siempre hay un pero. Y para mí lo flojo de este libro es todo el asunto de Bahía Calavera. La batalla en el lugar y todo eso de la búsqueda del Candado no me encantó demasiado. Me sigue costando mucho gestionar ciertas elecciones que hace Aelin porque ya me empieza a cansar su papel de salvadora de la humanidad. Sé que que es la protagonista pero no consigo terminar de bancarla en lo que hace. Todo esto de los secretos y tener que siempre andar demostrando cosas que claramente no es necesario en este punto me complica la existencia.
En fín, le pongo un 4,25☆ (vamos a estrenar esas nuevas medias puntaciones). Ya solo queda el gran final.

The stakes are higher than ever. Sometimes you work and work and work and the tide just isn’t in your favor. I read this book in tandem with Tower of Dawn, and thank god I did. That ending will have you screaming!

It's a 4.5 for me, I couldn't put just 4 so I chose 5. This was just so sooooo entertaining and enjoyable and very emotionally devastating. The ending ruined me.
⚠️ This review is the result of a tandem read - no spoilers, but it means it contains my opinion of EoS and ToD as a whole ⚠️Honestly, it's really hard to provide two separate reviews for EoS and ToD, so I'll do my best to share what I think.I loved the tandem read, but being two books merged into one makes it very slow-paced for the first half, which is quite a big chunk.EoS is full of strategy, revelations, drama and that tad bit of romance that makes it chef's kiss. ToD, on the other hand, feels like a book completely disconnected from the main storyline. It follows two characters and introduces many more into play - there is romance, adventure, danger, redemption. At some point I actually found myself more invested in ToD than EoS, although I don't think I would have loved it as much if I had read these books separately. And this is not because ToD is a terrible book.Other than what I mentioned above, we all know SJM's writing - the last 10-15% of her books are packed with action. The cliffhanger in EoS is so shocking that, had I read them separately, I wouldn't have cared as much about ToD's dynamics and revelations. I personally would have just wanted to find out how it ends.The tandem was the slowest read of all the books so far for me, but SJM managed to fill it with vital information and great storytelling!
La forma que está escrito este libro, claramente es superior a las demás. Se nota que la autora buscó las formas de que todo cobre sentido desde los primeros libros, la evolución de los personajes. MARAVILLOSO! Ciertamente me parece increíble esta saga... todos los personajes me parecen fantásticos ♥️🔥 La leí en tándem junto con Torre del Alba (recomendadisimo leerlo así)
It just keeps getting better! This is the best book so far in the series, and that is saying something, as most of the books in Throne of Glass are 4 to 5 stars. I can’t wait to read the last two!
