Us Cavalry

The US cavalry has distinguished itself in battle since the American Revolution of the 1770s. Since then, the cavalry has seen action in the American Civil War (1861-1865) and in frequent battles with Native American tribes on the Western frontier, and more recently in World War II and the Korean War (1950-1953). This book details the history of the cavalry from its formation to the late 1960s, while profiling some of its most memorable leaders.
