In this near future, sci-fi thriller, the line between reality, and virtual reality is blurred.

Following clues shaped like old video games, Shane stumbles upon a secret gaming club that is at the top of the leaderboard for the new online game sweeping the nation. They invite him to try out the new ultra sensitive VR suits that put the gamer directly into the action. It's a first person opportunity Shane can't resist. Only they don't tell him until it's too late, there is no escape from the game. To make matters worse, the damage is real, the fights are real, and losing your life in the game, means death in real life.
Shane is not alone in the simulation, but he has to figure out if these other two players are friends or foes, all while surviving castle raids by mythical creatures hellbent on wiping out all life in the castle, not getting killed by fantasy monsters outside the safety of the castle, and preventing the wrath of the maniac that trapped him in the game to begin with. Death and danger lurk around every turn. His only escape may lie in a booby trapped, mysterious tower that is guarded by an unnamed terror, but to not risk escape is certain doom.
