설명

The story revolves around Madija, a seventeen-year-old girl whose life is confined within the walls of her carefully controlled environment due to a serious illness. From her sheltered bubble, she observes the world beyond through windows and a screen, piecing together a reality that feels tantalizingly close yet so far away. Her existence is one marked by limits and boundaries, where the outside world is a dangerous place, and her interactions are restricted to a few familiar faces.

However, everything changes when a new neighbor, who seems to embody the very essence of life and freedom, moves in next door. This mysterious stranger sparks a longing within Madija to experience everything she has been missing. Captivated by the idea of love and adventure, she grapples with the decision of whether to break free from her protective shell.

Through a narrative filled with emotional highs and lows, the story delves into themes of courage, love, and the desire to embrace life's uncertainties. Madija’s journey is one of self-discovery as she weighs the risks of stepping outside her comfort zone against her yearning for genuine connection and experience.

As her heart pulls her towards a world that is both exhilarating and terrifying, readers are invited to ponder the profound questions of vulnerability and the lengths one might go for love. With vivid prose, the authors capture the essence of youth, hope, and the powerful drive to live life to its fullest, even amidst the most daunting challenges.

I picked up this book after seeing it in the library, it looked pretty and since it was a romance I decided id try reading it. I loved it, it made me smile, giggle, kick my feet and cry. The characters are lovely and the plot-twist was unpredictable and you only suspect it at some point but it vanishes only a few chapters later. There's drawing in the book that add a little fun to reading aswell as visual image when talking about some subjects. Overall I really liked this book, Olly is a lovely boy and Maddy a lovely girl and the love dynamic is adorable yet intense.
There's no spice only a slight mention of it so I would say anyone can read this probably starting 13 years old maybe a little older (i dont really know but that's my opinion as a 19 years old TvT). I will definitely buy this book for myself to read it over and over again aswell as read more of Nicola Yoon's books.

Tw: mention of death, abuse.

Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon Maddie has a super rare disease where she cant leave the house, but when olly moves in next door she wants to be normal like every other teenager. Throughout the book we watch maddie grow as a person and her character is so amazing. Also I loved the ending of this book so much.
