설명
Stacey returns home with the security of Kade’s team, only to be dragged further into her own living hell by her deranged abuser Chris–until the opportunity finally comes to fight back. Kade has never been so deep in the pits of hell itself.
Seeing Stacey once nearly knocked him off his axis; seeing her twice–ready to submit to his dominance–is a disaster waiting to happen. Yet despite his hatred for her, she’s his anchor, the flashes of what they used to be the only thing keeping him sane and stopping the darkness from claiming him completely. But what happens when the truth about their past finally unravels, and both he and Stacey learn what really happened the night that tore them apart?
As this is a dark romance, the author highly recommends reading the 'content warning' page.

모두 보기Apparently we humans willingly sign up for mental torture and pain. Like my soul hurts, my heart aches, I feel physically bad and I continue reading this series and if I could I would give this book all the stars possible. The way this book is written and layered has me in a chokehold. This is not a dark romance, this is no smut, this is pure pain.
Voracious — Leigh Rivers⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️This book genuinely made me feel unwell. Not metaphorically. Physically. I finished it with tears actively falling, chest tight, stomach in knots, and that hollow ache that only comes from a story ripping something vital out of you and refusing to give it back. 🕯️🖤🕯️This story hurt in ways I was not prepared for. This is one of the rare dark romances where the pain feels earned. The suffering is not gratuitous. It has weight. Purpose. Consequences. I cried, I shook, I had to stop reading just to breathe. ✦✧✦Stacey is one of the strongest FMCs I’ve ever read, soft without being weak, fierce without being cold. She refuses to shrink, refuses to stay silent, and her growth feels hard-earned and real.☾ ☽ ☾Kade shattered me. His mental health journey is raw, painful, and devastatingly accurate. He carries guilt like a second skin and would rather live in agony than let Stacey be hurt. Every flashback with him felt like emotional blunt force trauma.✦✧✦This story made me root for characters I just wanted to protect. The tension is relentless. The villains made my skin crawl. The love story didn’t fade, it shattered, and they’re bleeding on every page. This book is darker than the first, emotionally punishing, and ends on a cliffhanger that feels criminal. ☾ ☽ ☾Leigh Rivers, you are personally responsible for my future therapy bills.Kade and Stacey deserve their happy ending, and I will not emotionally survive if they don’t get it✦✧✦Voracious is devastating, suffocating, brutal and somehow still achingly beautiful. The Edge of Darkness trilogy is shaping up to be one of my all-time favorites. Leigh did not come to play.🖤🫠..........⚠️ spoilers!Kade emptying the pill cabinet, and getting on the boat.“If I die, then at least I get to be with my angel.”That moment lives rent-free in my soul and will haunt me forever!
