'Wane: An Abstracted Illness' is a collection of nineteen poems which express the author's experiences with bi-polar disorder. Rather than being presented as a narrative with a linear story of diagnosis, illness and recovery however, life is presented here in short bursts and glimpses of the mania, depression and frustration that permeate life with or without bi-polar disorder.
