This took me way too long to read—not because of the book, but because I had surgery and my brain has just not been braining for the past month. That said, once I picked it back up, I flew through the rest in a single sitting.I really enjoyed it overall. The date scene was sweet—I always appreciate when characters actually get a moment to connect like that. And I love when characters from other books make an appearance; it always feels like a little reward for being part of the world.So yes, it took me a while, but it was a good read, and I’m glad I came back to it.
