I adored this book. I tried to read when it first was released and I ended up DNFing it, clearly because I wasn’t in the right headspace. Fast forward 4 years and it has become one of my favourite reads of 2025. I can’t wait to read the other two books in the series and whatever Freya Marske writes in the future.
