I love this series so much. I live for Mayor Felix's meddling. And now he has an apprentice! And once we finally got the ball rolling on the romance, I had a great time.But I had my problems with this one. The first being communication. I know ...I KNOW miscommunication is a real thing we go through in real relationships. But they literally just didn't talk to each other. And yeah, their insecurities played a huge part but MY GOD. They all kept everything inside. Lucy and Leo could have been dating this entire time. Between his family and her friends literally screaming at them to OPEN THEIR EYES, something should have been happening between them. King... King was peak fuqboi behavior in the beginning and Lucy should have made him grovel more. And Wilder... I don't know, if you're worried about someone's safety around you, maybe explain why??? So much could have been avoided if they just talked to each other. Air out your dirty laundry so I can get more moments of actual courting!Despite all that, I promise I had a great time. Winter is still my favorite so far, but this is second.
This one actually might be my favorite out of the series so far. This one was really really cute and funny. Really enjoyable cozy omegaverse story.
