A Scattered Wind

For people tired of reading the same old fantasy story, The Hinterland is a fantasy series that plays with genre tropes and familiar character archetypes. A SCATTERED WIND is the first book of the series. -- The world is ending. War is coming, and factions are gathering. An assassin is blackmailed by a mysterious figure called the Pale Stranger. An orphan forms an uneasy alliance with a thief. A loyal soldier is branded a traitor, and a prophet discovers an ancient secret. And in the middle of all this is a man who has a dark secret—one that could destroy an entire country. Some want the world to end, but others want to save it. The decision will come down to one person. But what will it be?
