One morning Hattie rose to find a curious fellow sitting at her table. Returning to the bedroom she fetched a thirty eight revolver from under her pillow and put it in her pocket. Odd people started showing up around town. Her friend Norma called them the Grey Men. Hattie was a middle aged woman living alone in a small town in New Mexico. How hard could it be to scare her into surrendering the book?
