Beschrijving

Ivy Morgan is at a crossroads in her life, grappling with emotions and circumstances that have left her feeling unsteady and lost. Recent experiences have altered her perspective, and she finds herself struggling to embrace her identity amid the chaos that surrounds her. As she navigates the tumultuous waters of her existence, the weight of her decisions looms heavily, casting a shadow over her hopes for the future.

In a world filled with external pressures and internal conflicts, Ivy's journey becomes one of self-discovery and resilience. She seeks comfort in familiar relationships, but the strain of her hidden burdens threatens to push her closer to the edge. As her reality unravels, Ivy must confront the truth about what has been holding her back and whether she has the strength to push through the fear that grips her.

Allegiances are tested, and wounds from the past resurface, forcing her to acknowledge the pain that she has tucked away. Yet, amidst the turmoil, glimmers of hope shine through as friendships deepen and unexpected connections form. These relationships become her lifeline, guiding her toward finding the courage she never knew she possessed.

With every step Ivy takes, she learns that bravery isn't the absence of fear but the determination to face it head-on. Her story unfolds as a testament to the power of resilience, the importance of self-acceptance, and the bond of love that can help heal even the deepest wounds. Ivy's path is not just about reclaiming who she is; it’s about embracing her true self, flaws and all, in a world that often feels overwhelming.

I'm trying to think how I should review this. It is not easy. I've only just finished it so I am still reeling from the ending. It wasn't that it was overwhelming though. More like the build-up has you on the edge of your seat, waiting to see what happens. The reveal of the Queen's identity and all the lies that have come to light. In the last 150 pages, that's where all the truths come forth. That's where you learn about most of the lies that have been told and learning it all in one sitting can be a lot, especially if you are invested in the story. One thing is for certain: Nothing is as it seems.I think that describes this series very well. I highly recommend this series for anyone interested in this genre. Or if you like JLA's style. As I am both, I feel like I am biased but oh well. Highly recommend.
