Nadat zijn geheugen is gewist, wordt Thomas wakker in een grote open ruimte met gigantische muren eromheen. De jongens die er al wonen hebben geen idee wat ze er doen of waar ze vandaan komen. I didn't grow up with this and have no attachment to this like many folks do, but it wasnt too bad. Sightly predicable but a decent story line.

Ever since reading the Hunger Games trilogy, I have been in love with the dystopian genre. The Maze Runner seems to bring a new sense of disturbance to the dystopian genre. Living in a disease-ridden world inside a giant stone maze, ensnared by horrifying crearures is definitely a new level. Though the narrative style is definitely worth a debate, it's an action-packed novel with many twists and turns.

I really loved this book but i think j just gat a little to ambitious with it and really wanted tk read the book before the movie
