It was a fun read but the fmc was a bit annoying sometimes and the plot was pretty predictable and convenient at some points.

I am very intrigued to see where this story goes. I'm hoping this is the build up to a potentially great series for me. This book took a bit for me to get into, I didn't feel like I was connecting to the characters or the story until probably after 60% through when it started to get interesting! There was a lot of mystery and unanswered questions in the first half, but the last part of the book had me hooked and can't wait to see where this goes!
