I can level a city block with a signature.

But apparently I can’t handle one fiery, freckled disaster of a woman walking into my classroom wearing a wrinkled T-shirt and breaking every rule I live by.

She’s late, she’s mouthy, she’s gorgeous… and she sees right through me.

I’m supposed to be teaching business, not losing my mind over the girl with too much on her shoulders and no clue how breathtaking she is.

When I ask her to be my fake date to a wedding, it’s supposed to be simple—clean, controlled, forgettable.

Then she kisses me like she’s starving, dances with me like she owns me, and wrecks every wall I’ve spent years rebuilding.

I should walk away.

But I can’t—not when I find out how hard her life really is, how fiercely she loves, how much she’s been carrying alone.

She’s losing the one thing that matters most to her, and I’m the jerk whose company is about to destroy it.

I can buy anything… except forgiveness.

And I’ll burn my entire legacy down before I let the world take her smile from me.
