From the synopsis, I expected this to have more depth and some profound, thought-provoking insight about life and love… or that there would at least eventually be an actual real love story develop… but neither of those things happen. It's a 2.5⭐.This is complicated. I'm exhausted by this book.The premise was sooo good, but the execution really wasn't for me. It was insanely repetitive, I didn't care about any of the characters and the plot was so weirdly structured, that it felt like we had 100 plot lines and none at the same time, which was it's own personal kind of frustrating. I probably should have DNFed, but my curiosity dragged me to the end. Spoiler: it wasn’t worth it.Maybe if I delete it from my Kindle and re-download it, I’ll get the same premise in a version that actually delivers? A girl can dream.
Concept was sort of interesting. Book tried to be like the Midnight Library.
