Beschrijving
Following the success of his first novel, Marçal Aquino returns with another example of his great narrative talent. Set in São Paulo, he tells the story of three engineers who all work together at the same construction company. Their lives take a dramatic turn when they agree to take part in committing fraud. Conflicts arise between the three almost immediately—and events take a deadly turn. Two decide to gang up on the third, not realizing the wheels of guilt and violence they have put into motion.
