This novel was meant to be the second Siobhan Quinn novel, the sequel to Blood Oranges. Kiernan finished it but was unhappy with it, so withdrew it from her publisher in favor of writing a replacement sequel, Red Delicious. Fay Grimmer will most likely never be commercially available. The uncorrected manuscript was, however, serialized by Kiernan in Sirenia Digest #86-92.
