Lanie Heron is at a crossroads in her life, still reeling from the aftermath of a relationship that left her bruised and wary of opening her heart again. She has her guard up, focusing instead on her work and maintaining her independence. But life has a way of throwing curveballs, and Lanie’s path takes an unexpected turn when she crosses paths with someone who challenges everything she thought she wanted.

As sparks fly between Lanie and this enigmatic new presence, old wounds start to resurface, making her question her choices and the barriers she has built around herself. The chemistry is undeniable, yet Lanie struggles with the fear of vulnerability and the possibility of being hurt once more. With each encounter, she finds herself drawn deeper into a whirlwind of emotions she's tried to shut out.

Set against a backdrop of passionate encounters and heartfelt moments, Lanie must navigate the complexities of trust, healing, and the undeniable fire igniting within her. As she learns to embrace her desires and confront her past, Lanie's journey becomes a testament to the power of love and the courage it takes to rediscover one's heart.

I don't know why I wait to read these. Anything by Kristen Ashley is amazing! I loved Shy and Tab's story but I wasn't sure about Hop and Lanie I didn't really like Lanie in Tack and Ty Ty story so I kept putting off reading this book. I am dumb! I have read so many Kristen Ashley books I should know better. It was amazing in fell in love with both Hop and Lanie and can't can wait to start the next in the Series! Also I love Tack omg he is amazing. I forgot how amazing her is until he shows up in a scene in the book and reminds you of how hot his Alpha bad boy self is!
