Accidental involvement in the killing of a store clerk in a robbery, Dan must run for his life to escape an angry posse of townspeople who have rope justice on their minds.Headed for the Rockies, he comes across Purdy, an old prospector who has struck it rich.Purdy hides him, saving his life but at a great price which takes him back to civilization bringing into his life much more than that for which Dan had bargained.That, plus the involvement in his life of two more problems changes his life in more ways than he could have ever imagined!
