Hancock', the Missing Page, Son and Heir and 2 Other TV Episodes

Tony Hancock stars in four more specially selected BBC TV episodes: 'The Missing Page', 'Poison Pen Letters', 'Lord Byron Lived Here' and 'The Succession - Son & Heir'.

'The Missing Page' finds Hancock engrossed in a thriller, but the crucial last page is absent and he becomes obsessed with tracking it down. 'The Poison Pen Letters' sees Hancock receiving anonymous mail, leading him to change his address. In 'Lord Byron Lived Here', some of Byron's odes are discovered under the wallpaper, so Hancock decides to open the house as a stately home, and in 'The Succession - Son & Heir', he decides it is time to get married and produce an heir. He narrows the field to three women - but will any of them accept his proposal?

Featuring a guest cast including Patricia Hayes, John Le Mesurier, Hugh Lloyd and June Whitfield, these four episodes show the master of misery at his doleful best.
