This series is the first dark romance I’ve ever read, and holy shit I don’t think I’ll ever find another book series out there that would compare to this one.
I mainly got Haunting Adeline because of TikTok and seeing so many people so hyped up about this book, and in my opinion it definitely didn’t disappoint and I never wanted to put it down!!
And the second book on the other hand I saw very mixed reviews some people saying it was too dark and some people even skipped the whole Adeline being kidnapped. I honestly didn’t think it was that dark, to me the most fascinating thing about Adeline being kidnapped was the fact that the author did such an amazing job at showing the emotional and mental suffering she was going through, while she was kidnapped and even after she returned home. Bad things did happen in the second book and I definitely shed some tears but I think it was by far one of the best books I’ve read just because of the emotion the author really brought out in this book. If you’re thinking about reading this series I’d definitely recommend and I’ll be recommending it to my friends and family!
Overall, as much as reading these two books we’re definitely an emotional ride, I loved this series SO much and am excited to read more books from this Author!!
