Let No Man Put Asunder

Dave Pillsbury was a hard working small town carpenter in his late twenties when he married Patricia Cavendish. He thought he'd made the perfect choice for his life's partner, Patricia was beautiful, well educated and came from a well respected local family. Her father was a criminal court judge who was loved by the local police, prosecutors and citizens, not many criminals walked out of Judge Cavendish's courtroom as free men or women. Now, over twenty years later Dave was living a nightmare with no way out. His marriage fell apart from the very beginning and it only got worse with the passage of time. Dave has been in and out of jail more times than he could count, the police seem to be at his wife's personal beck and call and, Dave thinks, she is clearly out of her mind. He wants out in the worst way but after twenty years it looks as if he's been handed a life sentence at hard labor.
