Beschrijving

Sang Sorenson finds herself at the crossroads of friendship and deep-rooted emotions as she navigates the complexities of relationships within the Academy. Her world takes a dramatic turn when several boys begin to show interest in her, complicating her previously uncomplicated life. As she grapples with her burgeoning feelings, Sang realizes that love is not just a game but a labyrinth filled with unexpected twists and turns.

The dynamics between Sang and the boys shift, challenging her perceptions of love and loyalty. Each boy brings a unique energy, sparking not just desire but also an array of emotions that she must learn to understand. As she draws closer to them, the fear of vulnerability looms large, forcing her to confront her own insecurities and the possibility of heartbreak.

In a world where friendship can swiftly turn into something more, Sang must find her way through the push and pull of affection. Will she be able to embrace her feelings, or will fear and uncertainty hold her back from experiencing the depth of love that awaits?

The tension in this book was absolutely unreal. Every interaction had me screaming internally because it was so obvious that something was bound to happen. You can only put Sang and the boys together for so long before feelings start spilling over. At this point, the rule felt less like a solution and more like a countdown timer. What I loved most was seeing how much the relationships have grown. Sang isn't the same girl she was in the beginning, and the boys continue to show why I adore them. Their loyalty, protectiveness, and complete inability to keep their feelings neatly contained made this book impossible to put down.Nathan's storyline broke my heart. Watching him deal with his father was difficult, and it made me appreciate even more how much the Academy has become a family for all of them. The found-family aspect remains my favorite part of this series.
