Beschrijving

In the heart of a bustling city, Camille Rivera struggles against the weight of her past, feeling unworthy of the love she craves. Her life has been marked by heartbreak and disillusionment, leaving her to navigate a world that often feels unforgiving. When she crosses paths with a man equally haunted by his own demons, the sparks that ignite between them begin to challenge their beliefs about their worthiness.

As Camille and her enigmatic love interest find solace in each other, they embark on a journey of self-discovery and healing. Each moment spent together reveals layers of vulnerability and strength that neither knew they possessed. Their connection serves as a bittersweet reminder of the pain they carry but also of the possibility of redemption through love.

In a gripping tale of passion and resilience, the two protagonists learn that love isn't about perfection; it's about embracing one's flaws and finding beauty in the journey. Together, they may just redefine what it means to be worthy of love.

The only reason I picked this book up after the experience I had with the previous book was because it was Nero's book. And I have to say I am glad I did.I really enjoyed this book. It had a simple plot that was easy to follow, enjoyable and was easy to follow. I already knew I loved Nero but in this he was better than I thought. I was thinking he'd be darker and more unhinged as that is how others had described him but while he is in the mafia and does a lot of criminal activities, I also believe there is a side to him no one knows about. That side is what he showed Camille. Now as for Camille, fantastic FMC. She was strong, caring and wanted what was best for her family even if tat meant putting herself on the line to make sure her brother has a better life than her and that her dad gets the treatment he needed.I would have liked more of the Gallo's interacting with Camille but that was just a personal preference.Overall I really enjoyed this and found myself laughing a lot.Now do I think reading books 1 & 2 are worth reading to get to this book, no. But again that is just my opinion.
