I mean I liked this book, the style, the descriptions and even the fact that it’s written from the 3rd point of view. I liked how the questions Tem had in her head and in general the analyses of different situations, how they were described. Very quality written. The one thing that I didn’t like is Leo suddenly agreeing to Tem being shared. Like in the beginning after he got to know she is with Caspen he told that it’s either only him or nothing but then he suddenly changed his mind and it was weird. Like he never was against sharing after all. The book gave me massive Twilight vibes when it comes to the love triangle and Tem wanting to have everything at once. I actually feel sorry for Caspen and Leo and think that Tem is a greedy bitch 😂 Honestly, I wanted to rate this as 5 ⭐️ but I realized after some time I became a bit bored with all the “ I want to be with Caspen, I want Leo, why can’t I have them both” and blah blah And plus I wanted Caspen to be more possessive and aggressive, he is a basilisk after all, why he was so okay with sharing Tem 🤨
I really jumped into this read blind and was surprised! It’s spicy, kinky, and has underlying elements of self acceptance, generational trauma, and political strife. I’m not entirely certain what the overall conflict is between the two societies… perhaps the overall feeling of superiority plays a part but both seem to be using the other in some sort of way…ANYWAY wild ride, interesting dynamics, and quite unique decisions were made in this book… I have a lot to think about…
O-Kay. Where do I even start? I've read many different open-door spice books but this was tbe worst. Nothing but sex. It was to the point where I was hoping I wouldn't read more sex but it was literally every other page. Tem is the most sensitive, immature, insecure FMC i have ever read! She was crying pretty much every scene when things didn't go her way. Like, my girl, you are 20 years old and have the emotional integrity of a 14 year old. Oh! And what's the plot? Haha! You actually missed it when it left with everyone dignity, im so happy that I finished this. I need my fluffy romance.
