Beschrijving
After tabbing the queen's high wizard and stealing back a magic amulet belonging to his ancestors, 17-year-old Han Alister and his companion Dancer flee. Having only just discovered they are wizards, the two don't yet know how to use magic to protect themselves.
Initially, training at the Mystwerk House magical academy seems the ideal solution to escaping their enemies—until Alister and Dancer discover they're in as much danger at Mystwerk as anywhere else. Hoping to become more powerful, Alister enlists the aid of a mysterious wizard. Bust as Alister begins to understand what the wizard expects in return, he realizes the alliance may cost more than he's willing to pay.
In this second installment of her applauded Seven Realms series, New York Times best-selling author Cinda Williams Chima continues the tale of a young man's realization of a young man's realization of his heritage and destiny. Narrator Carol Monda captures the colorful personalities of Chima's characters with wit and grace.
An unabridged recording on 16 CDs (17.75 hours).
