In Jerusalem a new millinnium dawnsb & While working on a controversial building project in the occupied West Bank, David Weisman, a young Israeli engineer, accidentally uncovers a mysterious bronze cylinder. Inside are 2000 year old scrolls which soon land him in danger and engender a dispute which threatens to rip the Holy City apart. In search of scholars who can decypher the message of the scrolls, David flees to the USA, England and Rome.
