Beschrijving

"The Tempest", likely written around 1610-1611, is often thought to be one of William Shakespeare's final plays which he wrote alone.

"Prospero, sorcerer and rightful Duke of Milan, along with his daughter Miranda, has lived on an island for many years since his position was usurped by his brother Antonio. Then, as Antonio’s ship passes near the island one day, Prospero conjures up a terrible storm…"

This edition of Shakespeare's classic play also features lavish black-and-white illustrations by the English artist Robert Anning Bell (1863-1933).

No por la escritura, que me parece excelente, sino por gusto personal no disfrute de la historia, para mí una tragedia sin sentido propia de otra época y que, en mi opinión, no ha envejecido bien.
