Beschrijving

In an atmosphere thick with tension and emotional complexity, a young woman finds herself caught in a web of danger and desire. Despite her decision not to take a drastic step against Mara, the haunting presence of Shaw looms ever closer, casting shadows over her days and nights. Living under the same roof with Shaw weighs heavily on her; the dynamics of their relationship grow increasingly fraught as hidden motives and unspoken truths bubble to the surface.

The story unfolds in an environment rife with conflict, where past actions shape the present, and every choice could lead to irrevocable consequences. She grapples with her feelings for Shaw while wrestling with the unsettling reality of their situation. Trust becomes a rare commodity, and as tensions escalate, she must navigate her own loyalties while confronting the demons of her past. Each encounter brings her closer to a breaking point, forcing her to reconsider everything she thought she knew.

With her heart on the line, the protagonist must ultimately decide what she is willing to sacrifice for peace and safety. Encounters grow more volatile, and as secrets unravel, she must confront the darkest corners of her heart. In a world where the lines between love and hate are blurred, the truth may be more terrifying than she ever anticipated.

Loved this duet. The first part was absolutely my favourite, although this is just as excellently written. I loved Cole's obsession. I could've read a whole other book with him finding new ways to stalk her. I just felt like this book was missing something. Good ending. Great characters. Had me hooked from start to finish. 4⭐️
