Vampire Regent

Book 9 in "The Chronicles of the Immortal Council" series! A "Vampire for Hire World" novel!

Sam finds herself at the center of another mystery involving the Elder Watchers. But this time, it's personal.

Marie de Guise, once Queen regent of Scotland, has discovered that her most faithful companion from her human years was turned into a vampire and then seemingly, she vanished from the face of the Earth. With the fierce love and loyalty she had been well known for during her reign, Marie is determined to locate Antoinette and bring her home.

As Marie's story unfolds, Sam and Allison find themselves halfway around the world in the countryside of France hunting for Antoinette.

With the help of the Eastern Watch and a very skilled, old werewolf, the two put a location on Antoinette but as soon as they begin their search they find the tables have been turned on them.

Will they be able to save Antoinette and save themselves from the clutches of her captors? Only Sam's ingenuity and Allison's witchy talents can save them and time is running out.
