Beschrijving

In the mysterious depths of the ocean, Tazia Nerif thrives in her role at a deep-sea research station, where her skills as an engineer help to unravel the secrets of the aquatic world. The tranquil yet treacherous underwater environment serves as both a workplace and a sanctuary. Here, Tazia grapples with the challenges of isolation while striving to push the boundaries of human understanding of the sea.

As she becomes immersed in her research, Tazia’s world expands, introducing her to the complexities of both technology and emotion. She navigates a delicate balance between her professional ambitions and personal connections, ultimately discovering that the depths of the human heart can be just as profound and enigmatic as the ocean itself. The journey she embarks on highlights the beauty and unpredictability of life, drawing readers into a richly woven narrative of ambition, exploration, and the intricate dance between solitude and companionship.

I would give this 20 stars, each of the 4 stories in this collection were great, below are my thoughts on each one.Echoes Of SilenceNalini creates such complex characters, her Psy TK Stefan, so controlled yet passionate, showing his love in such minute nuances over time, eventually Tazia starts to notice. Tazia I thought was a perfect partner for Stefan, she may have been human, but she knew all about the rigidness of one's upbringing and how that can affect the way you react to other people. Zazia is alone, having chosen her career over the marriage that her father wanted for her, she wanted more out of life than that of her small village. Feeling the brunt of the rejection of her family when she was given the chance to accompany Stefan to an Earthquake disaster zone, working together to rescue the survivors, they soon realise how much each of them cares for the other. I loved the story it was both heartbreaking and uplifting and the ending was perfect. DorianA favourite character throughout the series, it was great to get to know his character more deeply.Dorian never let his latency issues stop him from being the best he could be, The bonds of pack life shown in this story remind us that everyone has their limitations, but that love should be unconditional and that with love, support and acceptance no matter the hurdles, a person can achieve beyond their expectations.Partners in PersuasionPassion and love are feelings to be earned, Felix may be submissive in the hierarchy of pack life, but he's brave and strong enough to put his heart on the line, even though he has been scarred in the past when he was young. He pushes through the doubts of not only the submissive/dominant issue, but also the interspecies problem as well. The story reminds us we should love and accept love in return, regardless of the past, everyone has a place in the pack - and Dezi is where his heart truly belongs.Flirtation of FateI think Kenji has always intrigued me as a character, not only his looks and amazing hair designs, but because he had a secret that you knew kept him from the ones he cared about, kept him distant from the pack.Kenji has been making Garnets life hell, hurt from his rejection 7 years ago, the death in the den puts the pair together and Garnet is wise enough to notice that his coldness is hiding his true feelings. I guessed the situation of both the death and the reason for Kenji's withdrawal from Garnets life, but I really enjoyed the clues that were laid out for us to work out what really happened. And I loved the way that Garnet wasn't going to give up on Kenji. Happy Ever Afters are afterall what I love best.I think I may just do a Full series Re-Read this year, as I have enjoyed spending all day in Nalinis world and don't really want to leave
