Beschrijving

Set in Hobart and Launceston Tasmania in the 1940's.

It explores a family suicide, where the authors father suicided over a relationship he was having with a very plain girl.

The story also explores the Tasmanian Zoo that was going during the 1940s. Did you know the Zoo had Polar Bears. The story draws out information about the Thylacine, the now extinct Tasmanian Tiger.

The authors Father travels to the United States where he has a number of associations with Errol Flynn. Who also grew up in Tasmania.

The Fathers' supposed suicide also draws a conclusion at the end of the story.

A great read. 9/10
