Entertaining, but I can't escape the frustration of following characters who don't know what is going on and every character who does know what is going on refusing to elaborate. The end of the book wraps up well. I do understand the jokes about character quirks being repeated ad nauseum, because by God how many times can it be mentioned that someone is tugging on their hair?
5 full stars!Because Dayum! Matrim Cauthon's story line.I don't think I will ever understand half the characters in this. And Rand is on top of that list. Unlike many readers I wasn't one bit put off that in a book called "The Dragon Reborn", the Dragon was nowhere to be seen.I hate how they are all still whining about how they didn't want to end up doing any of this. And it's getting rather annoying how they see Moirain as the cause of all the problems. Like how much longer will it last? The Romance, is definitely not a motive for having have picked up this series and Jordan has really pushed too hard at trying to write YA romance. And now the dynamics feel all weird and unrelatable. But still, I loved every bit of the story.
