I absolutely loved this book! I wasn't sure if I would cause I can be picky about my YA. BUT this book is well written, the plot was what I expected, the characters are loveable and the pace was great! I love everything about this book and I cannot wait to read the second!

✨️Audiobook review✨️ Daughter of the Pirate King by Tricia Levenseller⭐️⭐️⭐️This is a YA novel but my last 2 YAs have been great reads. However, I have heard many mixed reviews on this but I try to go into a book without prejudice and am then able to form my own opinion. In this case, I felt very disconnected from this story, I struggled to stay focused and kept finding myself wanting to just zone out. It was only a 7-hour audiobook so fairly short. The narration was fine, nothing overly exciting but I think the plot of the story itself i found boring. I felt like there wasn't really adventure. The MFC is something I've not come across before in a book so kudos to that. But all the other characters were pretty standard to be honest. No back story to most of them. I've given it a 3-star rating as an average read but I don't think I'll bother with the next book in this series.

YES!!!!!!!!!! It has about as much cussing as a pg13 movie and way too much kissing and violence but other than that
