And How is the winner of a 2006 Xeric Grant and employs somewhat surrealistic, extradiagetic, framebreaking moments alongside a sparse narrative presumably about the lives of a small rural family. The graphic novel presents this family in a collage of scenes involving Bigfoot photography, bees, planes, and book burning among others. It is a fun and and cryptically intelligent graphic tale about what it means to be alive in the world.
