Some characters are more likeable and some stories are better than the others (I was most drawn to Sonmi and Frobisher), but they are cleverly linked so it's enjoyable overall. It is a long read, however and I began to run out of steam in the last couple of hours for the audiobook (25 and a half hours listening time...), so at that point was happy when I'd finished. It's worth bearing in mind there are some problematic parts e.g. I think the language used was to reflect the opinions and terms of that time-period. There's also a bit of white saviourism, so it's not a perfect book.
