Die Fans haben die Geschichte um den jungen Avatar im TV über viele Jahre verfolgen können. Doch es ist noch nicht alles erzählt worden, wie die bereits bei Cross Cult erschienene Avatar-Comictrilogie DAS VERSPRECHEN gezeigt hat, die zwischen dem Finale der Originalserie und den neuen KORRA-TV-Staffeln bei Nick angesiedelt ist.
In AVATAR: DER HERR DER ELEMENTE - DIE VERLORENEN ABENTEUER sind 28 Kurzgeschichten versammelt. Sieben davon sind brandneu und noch nie veröffentlicht worden, während die restlichen 21 verstreut in Nickelodeon Magazinen erschienen. Jede Geschichte besitzt einen unverwechselbaren Zeichenstil und erzählt von einem Puzzlestück, das in der Originalserie mit Avatar Aang fehlte. Auf über 200 Seiten werden Fragen beantwortet wie: Wo versteckt sich der letzte Luftbändiger? Wann war Zuko und Mais erster Kuss? 4.5 stars!I loved thisss. Avatar has always been a favourite of mine and I've been meaning to get around to reading all the books/comics. I'm so glad I picked it up! I loved the inbetween adventures. So wholesome.I cannot wait to read the others.A word or warning though, if you haven't finished watching the show, who the characters are, will not make sense.
I loved the television series and i love this book.I highly reccomend this book to those who are missing their fix of aang and the gang.it is a tie in to the series. so if you haven't watched the series this book will be a bit confusing to you but its full of humour and it follows along the series. you may even watch the series after this too.anyway this graphic novel of sorts is full of... well... lost adventures. short side stories to the main adventure of the television series.from book one : water to book three: fire. there is alot there.book one: water consists of five stories book two: earth consists of Nine stories and book three: Fire consists of Twelve stories.I could sit here and list the contents of the book and give you a synopsis of each and very short story but I won't. I fear that of I do I will give it all away and the experience of reading this comic/graphic novel ( whatever you call them these days) would be ruined.so if you ever have the chance to read this I highly reccomend you do.
These short stories literally wore my heart. The last avatar was my childhood is what got me into anime as an adult. I am obsessed with the fact that I have all the books. I can't wait to dig into him. Yes, yes, these stories are amazing. I loved it when they gave me little mini stories throughout the series when they were on the quest of learning all the elements I was like. Oh my god like little mini stories are like what was actually going on. Some of the side things that they were doing while on these journeys. I loved it.
