I enjoyed this book so much. I chose to listen to Tom read it on audio and I'm glad I chose to listen instead. Hearing him talk about his experiences and share his stories was amazing. Some parts were funny and some were sad. If you lobe the harry potter books and movies as much as I do I strongly suggest you read it or listen to the audio book. 🖤
Draco Malfoy is not my favorite character, but I suddenly became a huge fan of Tom Felton after reading this book. Despite the evil-tragic character he played, Tom is really kindhearted and sweet (and a funny narrator too!).I grew up rewatching the Harry Potter movies. That’s why reading this book brings me so many nostalgic feelings. More than half of the book is about Tom’s experiences when filming Harry Potter and his relationships with the casts. Anyway, Tom and Emma's platonic love is so precious. I don't care about Dramione shipper, but they really prove that friendship can be as powerful as romantic love.So … yeah, I think the book is targeted for Potterheads indeed. It’s fluff, with a lot of hilarious stories, but also eye-opening to read.I admire how honest Tom is. He openly shares his ups and downs in his personal life, even his experience with mental health. FYI, the last two chapters made me both broke and proud at the same time. I found some parts are boring, maybe because the book is mostly narrations. Well, but like I said, Tom Felton knows how to tell a story in enjoyable way. I couldn’t even count how many times I laughed, especially while reading the part of “Don’t tread on my f*cking cloak!” (that’s my favorite chapter btw). Believe me, there are more reasons to read this book, despite the fact that you’re a Potterhead or simply have a fictional crush on Draco Malfoy. Tom Felton point of view gives you a deep understanding about the meaning of life and how to be a ‘person’.
