Opis
Several of Bin Laden’s diaries were discovered in Pakistan after his death in 2011. This 2006 diary was written in the caves along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, where the world’s once most wanted terrorist passed his days playing Monopoly, watching The Simpsons, phoning Mummy in Saudi Arabia, and popping Valium. He also had to prevent his Deputy from taking over as leader while fantasizing about having a passionate affair with Laura Bush - or, second best, with the wife of his best friend. In his diaries bin Laden reveals his thoughts on some of the most influential people of our age: Rumsfeld, Cheney, Rice, Rove, Saddam, Mullah Omar, Blair and Kim Jong-il. But his bête noir and obsession is the Cowboy of the Western World, Georgie Porgie himself.
