I've never read a James Patterson book, but our library book club challenge was to read a book of his, I'm not a 'detective' book reader but chose this book because it was small, surprisingly I enjoyed it and read it in 2 hours, Harriet Blue was sassy enough, tough and thorough in her investigations, her unwanted partner Tox was a character I'd have liked to see more of. The book ended with Harriet being sent away from her station after her private life is caught up in one of the case's she'd been trying to crack.I'm curious to see what she does next so I am going to get the next book Never Never if my library has it.
