Blue Bloods

I remember reading this book a long time ago but I could barely recall the plot. I stumbled upon it again and decided to reread it. And oh. My. God. What was that???The book could have been much shorter if the author did not feel the need to list every designer under the sun whenever describing an outfit. Seriously, no one cares.Second of all, the plot? Hello? I know there are like six books in the series but this was such a weak start. I usually try to finish any series I begin but I will not even bother with this one. I found a recap on Google and that is more than enough for me.Tying the story to the Roanoke colony felt completely random and out of place. The writing itself was poor too. I thought I would finish the book in just a couple of days but instead I kept falling asleep, taking forced breaks, and fighting the urge to throw my Kindle out the window.No. This was a complete no for me. I definitely will not be continuing the series.
