Pegged the "bad guy" before 1/2 way, yet some good twists that give alternative suspects. BUT Temperance Brennan, 21 books in is stale, annoying and generally pulling multiple rookie stupid moves (deadly if it was someone less central to the series). The rookie moves are likely just lazy storyline get from A to B, but super frustrating for a character as smart, educated and experienced as Tempe, for me then it is just lazy writing.I think I'm done with this series ... it makes me nuts when a long series main character has little growth. In this case everyone else (Ryan, Katy, even Skinny) is evolving but the good Doctor is stuck. As I see it, it may be time for this long series main character to either evolve or end the series.
