I enjoyed this book quite a lot, especially the atmosphere and the slow unraveling of secrets. The "love story" developed so nicely and the ending felt real. However, the resolution didn’t fully resonate with me. While it does make sense and opens an interesting debate about whether evil is born or made—and what “evil” truly is—it still left me feeling somewhat unsatisfied. A solid read, but not one of my favorites.

mehh...i gussed the ending like half way nothing crazy very fast pacednot a bad book though I'm gonna read more of aghatha Christy def.
