<spoiler></spoiler> This review will contain spoilers.This was a hard one for me to decide my rating on. I came into this book not expecting both Autumn and Brody to end up with the Fox, but I'm glad they did. Autumn and Brody were heartwarming together but they definitely needed the structure the fox provided them. I often felt that Brody was the only reasonable person in their trio, followed by the Fox. Autumn was a difficult sell for me, I really wanted to like her and I am empathetic to her PTSD, those moments never annoyed me. However, she low key kind of annoyed me at many other times during the book. I don't know if it was because this one was much longer than the rest of the books in the series, but this is the first time I got frustrated with the FMC, I felt like she barely spent any time out of little headspace and that became draining to me. That being said, I am a fan of the relationship and I think they all balance each other well and I never got so annoyed/frustrated that I had to put the book down or take a break. Kudos to the author for writing characters who are relatable in just the right way.
