I put it off because Nikolai was one of my favouite characters and I was scared to read this and either it be bad, or so good that I cannot read it for the first time again. This book was great, I loved it and had a great time. I definitely missed Leigh Bardugos writing too. It was so easy to slip back into this world and these characters. However, this book felt less like Nikolais and more like a story about Nina and Zoya. I love those girls a lot more now. I was hoping we would see them all meet up more but we didn't so fingers crossed for book 2.Also as a side note, this book definitely feels more character driven than plot driven for like 80% of it.
