Opis
Det er påske i Three Pines, og indbyggerne går i kirke, mødes til påskehygge og går på æggejagt. Men en lille gruppe venner beslutter sig for at bruge fridagene på at holde en okkult seance for at fordrive ånderne fra Old Hadley House, som de er overbevist om er besat. Men mens det står på dør en af deltagerne – tilsyneladende af skræk. Eller er det mord? Inspektør Gamache undersøger sagen, og det viser sig hurtigt at noget andet og langt mere ondskabsfuldt har påvirket den lille venneflok.

I really wanted to like this book. I just felt like the whole book was just characters bickering at each other. I’m sure the author didn’t intend for it to come off that way, but it just got old in a hurry. I listened to this as an audiobook from the library. Maybe it’s the narrator? I read in the description that this third book in the series is the standout so far. Huh? I don’t think so. I liked Still Life and A Fatal Grace far more than this one. A Fatal Grace is my favorite of the three so far. I plan to eventually read them all.
